*Figjam board (under NDA)
*Figma prototype (under NDA)
*Lyssna platform (used to be UsabilityHub)
Design iterations
Based on insights from usability testing, initial research, and feedback sessions, we developed two design concepts:
Minimalist Version: A simplified design similar to the existing form, focused on quick implementation. It removed unnecessary elements, streamlined the user flow, and improved clarity.
Enhanced Version: A more detailed design that required more development effort. It introduced new features, improved visuals, and provided more context to help users complete tasks more efficiently.
*Prototype version 1 (under NDA)
*Prototype version 2 (under NDA)
Further Testing and Refinement
We conducted additional usability tests on both prototypes to compare their effectiveness and gather more insights. By observing user interactions, analyzing task completion times, and collecting feedback, we identified areas for improvement. Based on these findings, we refined both prototypes, adjusting the layout, wording, and functionality to enhance the user experience.
*Results of usability testing (under NDA)
Stakeholder Delivery
We presented the final prototypes and recommendations to stakeholders for implementation. The presentation covered a detailed overview of the design process, key findings from usability testing, and the reasoning behind each design decision. We also offered implementation recommendations, considering development effort, cost, and the potential impact on user experience.
Conclusion
User Feedback Drives Improvement: Incorporating user feedback helps address specific pain points, making the design more intuitive and user-friendly.
Data-Driven Decisions: Usability testing provides critical insights that inform design improvements, ensuring decisions align with user needs.
Flexible Solutions Optimize Resources: Offering multiple design options enables stakeholders to balance quick fixes with long-term improvements, optimizing time and resources based on priorities.
