📜 Introduction

Objetive

The DIG4Future initiative aimed to enhance the digital skills of young students in disadvantaged areas. As part of this initiative, a project was undertaken to create a game that would educate students on topics such as artificial intelligence. The game uses the technology of Dall-e to teach players how to recognize an image generated from an AI image generator, and it does so by adapting the popular game Dixit.

What is DIG4Future?

🕹️ The game

Start

Description:

At the beginning of each turn, one player is chosen as the active player, who is allowed to use the AI tool.

Game prompt

Description:

All the players receive the same starting prompt for example “Famous portrait paintings”.

Normal player

Description:

Every player (expert the one using the AI tool) is going to use a simple Google image search to find a picture corresponding to the prompt. With the objective of making the other players think that the provided image is AI-generated.

AI assisted player

Description:

Instead, the player using the AI tools is going to try to generate an image that fools the other player into thinking the picture is real.

Voting stage

Description:

Once every player has submitted a picture, we move to the voting round. Where each player has to vote which one of the submitted pictures is the AI-generated one.

Results

Description:

Players get point in two different ways:

a. By tricking another player that their submission was the one generated by AI

b. By correctly identifying the AI-generated image

After the voting session, the game repeats, until a player reaches a defined amount of points.
